General Job Description:
The Customer Service Rep. is responsible for communications with internal and external customers in a professional, prompt, and effective manner including inquiries, processing orders, answering questions regarding orders, and handling customers’ complaints.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Knowledge of logistics and the trucking industry
Understanding of industry terminology
Strong Computer knowledge, including experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Google Mail
Able to interact effectively via phone, in person, via email or Instant Messenger with internal departments and external contacts
Customer Service focus
Must be detail-oriented
Ability to patiently communicate with internal and external customers
Positive, team-oriented attitude.
Effective communication, both written and verbal form
Strong analytical and mathematical skills, comfort with analyzing data
Must pass a background check and drug test
