General Job Description:

The Customer Service Rep. is responsible for communications with internal and external customers in a professional, prompt, and effective manner including inquiries, processing orders, answering questions regarding orders, and handling customers’ complaints.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

  • Knowledge of logistics and the trucking industry

  • Understanding of industry terminology

  • Strong Computer knowledge, including experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Google Mail

  • Able to interact effectively via phone, in person, via email or Instant Messenger with internal departments and external contacts

  • Customer Service focus

  • Must be detail-oriented

  • Ability to patiently communicate with internal and external customers

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude.

  • Effective communication, both written and verbal form

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, comfort with analyzing data

  • Must pass a background check and drug test
